A girl in Kenya just built her first robot. A student in Rwanda got hands-on with technology she'd never used before. In South Africa, girls made up more than 60% of participants at a robotics camp. @klearmilly8888 The year 112 of the Rattanakosin Era (R.S. 112), corresponding to 1893 AD (B.E. 2436), marks the year of the R.S. 112 Crisis, also known as the Franco-Siamese Crisis, one of the largest conflicts in Thai history. During the reign of King Rama V, France invaded Thailand by force, forcing Thailand to cede the left bank of the Mekong River in Laos, including all of Laos under Thai rule, as well as all of Cambodia, which had previously been a vassal state (or a province of Thailand), to France. During the treaty process, France occupied Chanthaburi, a Thai city, as collateral until 1905, a period of 11 years. Chanthaburi Province in Thailand is strategically important because it connects to the Gulf of Siam, which in turn is continuously linked to the Malay Peninsula in southern Thailand. This peninsula was previously seized and plundered by the British using military force. The Malay Peninsula, a part of Thailand, served as a transit route to the highly fertile Pailin Province, known for its gem and sapphire mines in Battambang, Siem Reap, and Sisophon. All of this was part of Thailand, but the French plundered its resources and wealth to establish a newly formed country on the world map, Cambodia, a parasitic nation that only existed for 73 years. This country is a legacy of war and bloodshed that continues to haunt Thailand to this day. The French, a colonial power and a malevolent force, supported and were behind the wars between Thailand and Cambodia!
