@theonetruedaniel The hypocrisy here is unbelievable. Mercedes-Benz Stadium was happy to turn Kanye West into practically a resident of the building during the Donda era, giving him a massive platform and publicity. Kanye later went on to openly praise Hitler, call himself a Nazi, make repeated antisemitic statements, and literally sell a swastika shirt. But Macklemore saying “Free Palestine” and speaking out about Palestinian civilians is apparently where the moral line gets drawn? Supporting Palestinian freedom is not antisemitism. Criticizing the Israeli government is not hatred of Jewish people. If your concern is genuinely antisemitism, then apply that standard consistently. Otherwise this looks a lot less like standing against hate and a lot more like protecting business interests and treating criticism of Israel as uniquely unacceptable.
