Suffolk County Police Department@scpdhq Suffolk County Police Officer Brendan Grogan was honored for his compassion, quick thinking and actions that helped to save a person’s life. Officer Grogan approached a disabled vehicle on the Robert Moses Bridge last month and helped someone when they needed it most. The driver was intending to harm themselves and Officer Grogan helped them through the situation and get help. Commissioner Kevin Catalina, Deputy Commissioner Belinda Groneman and members of the department recognized Officer Grogan today for his professionalism and compassion.
