Hiking Angels Landing in Zion National Park was easily one of the most difficult hikes I’ve done, but also one of the most rewarding. Rising nearly 1,500 feet above the floor of Zion Canyon, Angels Landing is one of those places where every step demands your attention. The final climb along the narrow ridge, holding onto chains with massive drops on either side, is an experience that is difficult to describe until you’ve actually done it. And then you reach the top. Suddenly, the heat, exhaustion, and difficult climb feel completely worth it. Standing high above Zion Canyon, surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs carved and shaped by nature over millions of years, you realize just how small we are compared to the landscapes around us. Zion is more than a beautiful National Park. It’s rugged, dramatic, unforgiving, and absolutely breathtaking. That day tested us physically and mentally, especially in 106 degree heat. But some of the most difficult journeys lead to the most unforgettable views. Angels Landing certainly lived up to its name. ⛰️🥾 . . . #zionnationalpark #angelslanding #utah #usnationalparks #usa
