Fashion is relentless in its pursuit of newness—but what lingers is hardly ever that. Instead, it is the clothes, characters and conversations that teem with desire, conviction and honest emotion that triumph over the noise. In the same vein, it is a mantra that perhaps 'Love Story' actress and our September cover star #SarahPidgeon, understands all too well. Earlier this year, @sarah__pidgeon took on the role of Carolyn Bessette—a woman whose legacy continues to be fanned in controversy, exalted for her sartorial confidence, and known for that inimitable self-possessed quality. “Carolyn had a real sense of self. She knew who she was and didn’t apologise for it. You witness that in how she dressed. It’s easy to copy the outfit formula but it’s near impossible to capture that aura,” Pidgeon says.
