Imogen Ní Choitir@imogencotter MARRIED 💍 We had such a beautiful week in the lead-up to our wedding 🥹 Some things I did to make sure my nerves were under control as a nervous bride: 1️⃣ We stayed together the night before! 2️⃣ We drove to the venue together 🥰 3️⃣ I got ready at my home house 🏡 4️⃣ We said our vows together in the morning, just the two of us 💖 5️⃣ We met with our guests a couple of times in the days before 🥰 Some things that I absolutely loved about our day: 1️⃣ We were married by @karen_kiernan_celebrant who had the most calm and relaxed energy - and included Unicorn Ispín on the day 🤣🐾 2️⃣ We didn’t do a wedding cake on the day, we had it the evening after with tea ☕️ 3️⃣ We didn’t do a Day 2, but the Thursday before we did drinks at @josephmchughspub for whoever was around! We also had a fab lunch on the Friday at @homesteadcottage_doolin - thanks to Dave, Marg, Peter and Aruna 😘 4️⃣ We got a photo printed and framed by Frameworks in Ennis, and then got our guests to sign it. Such an amazing keepsake! 5️⃣ We had @_awakeanddreaming_ as our photographer, I’ve known David since I was a teenager and have always loved his style 🤩 6️⃣ We did ring warming and hand fasting as part of our ceremony, I got a beautiful cord from @tying.the.knot.by.donna which had the Dutch and Irish colours together 🇳🇱🇮🇪 7️⃣ We had a photo booth from @luxuryweddingsupplies.ie which was so fun! 8️⃣ @ri_weddings_and_events came to decorate our venue and she absolutely smashed it. I adored her style 🪩🌸💖 9️⃣ I skipped a band and had a DJ all night instead. DJ Joe from Music Matters was unbelievable 🤌🏼 We aren’t party animals so I thought our wedding might be boring 🤣 But the dancefloor was NEVER empty 🕺🏻 1️⃣0️⃣ We didn’t have a videographer but had a camcorder from @offscript.tapes which meant we could capture moments ourselves. Recording our vows in the morning was something I’ll remember forever! 1️⃣1️⃣ We had our ceremony and afters all in @potduggans which was the perfect, relaxed venue for us. Buffet style BBQ, salads, flatbreads, amazing drinks - 10/10 🤌🏼 1️⃣2️⃣ We had incredible live music during our ceremony from @mollycrilly and @caro_lodge 🥹

@daveawex Wonderful and congratulations 🥂. That’s class and everyone should follow your example instead of the old fashioned way. We got married on a beach (twice) in Saint Lucia and there were no guests. 👏
