Most people train shoulders until something breaks. Then they spend months in physio wondering what went wrong. The shoulder joint is one of the most mobile joints in the body. that mobility comes at a cost. stability. the rotator cuff, the scapular stabilisers and the surrounding musculature must be strong enough to support every pressing, pulling and overhead movement you perform. When they are not — the joint compensates. impingement develops. tendons get compressed. pain follows. The four most common causes: too much pressing without enough pulling work to balance. poor scapular control during overhead movements. a neglected rotator cuff that was never trained directly. and ego loading before the joint is ready to handle the weight. The fix is simple. three movements added to your weekly training. Band external rotation twice per week. face pulls twice per week. wall slides three times per week. And one rule that overrides everything else. never train through joint pain. discomfort in the muscle is feedback. pain in the joint is a warning. respect the difference. The shoulder does not break suddenly. It breaks gradually through months of ignored warnings. Save this. add these three movements before something forces you to. Less noise. more results. #shoulderhealth #prehab #injuryprevention #musclebuilding #minimalfitx
