Noah Young@theshilohfarm 4th Annual Montana Vacation 🏔️ Noah has fallen on hard times, as it turns out a man can’t make much of a living as an influencer when the nearest internet connection is 100 years away. Sierra, unwilling to watch the family starve, has taken matters into her own hands and found respectable work running the town mercantile. Business is booming, though she’s learned that frontier folk are mighty particular about their dry goods. James has been working double shifts down at the mine in hopes of finally striking pay dirt and restoring the family fortune. The girls have taken to hunting and foraging to keep food on the table. Unfortunately, their definition of “foraging” occasionally includes whatever provisions can be found aboard an unguarded train passing through town. We’ve agreed it’s best not to ask too many questions. Charles remains the only one among us earning an honest living, breaking horses and pushing cattle through Paradise Valley. He’s a good hand and so far hasn’t brought any shame upon the family name. God willing, our fortunes will turn before next summer. Otherwise, this may very well be the last family vacation we can afford.

@parnellipat We have a picture like that, too. With 5 of our 7 children (2 born later). But we also had 2 Navajo girls living with us on an education program. So we had 9 of us afterall. The Indians were a unique addition.😃
