Furthermore, you follow an Evangelical doctrine that seeks the presence of Jews in Palestine to facilitate the descent of Jesus, son of Maryam—peace be upon him. If you believe he is God, do you intend to control the timing of His descent? Do servants hold authority over a god, or is it the other way around? Tonight, Kyiv is under another massive attack — ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and Shahed drones are raining down on a sleeping city. Ballistic missiles are falling from the sky onto a peaceful European capital. Russia is deliberately targeting residential areas and people in their homes. I am writing this while ballistic missiles are flying toward Kyiv. More than 30 attacks have been reported in the last hour. We simply do not have enough interceptors to protect our city. Only yesterday, the U.S. negotiating team left Ukraine. Today, Putin responds with another massive attack on Kyiv. Putin does not want peace. Every conversation is followed by more missiles, more terror and more deaths. Words alone will not stop him. To the leaders of the United States, Europe and the democratic world: Sell Ukraine enough Patriot interceptor missiles and other air-defense systems to protect our cities. Sell us long-range weapons so Ukraine can strike the military infrastructure and production facilities enabling these attacks. We are not asking you to fight this war for us. We are asking you to give us the means to survive. How many more Ukrainian families must wake up to the sound of explosions before the world acts? Do not tell us tomorrow that you did not know. You know. You see Kyiv burning. You see the destruction. You see the people hiding underground, wondering if they will survive the night. There is still a choice. Give Ukraine the weapons to defend its people. Give us the means to stop the missiles. Because this is not only about Ukraine.
