Why can FULL coverage results be better? 👇🔻 LEMME SPILL I love a full coverage lip tattoo because the result is much more even, more defined, less transparent and, in my opinion, just looks better both immediately after and healed than sheer🧘‍♀️ A lot of clients hear “full coverage” and think the tattoo will heal like lipstick, but when it’s done properly it can still heal incredibly natural. You just get more cohesion, better shape and more visible longevity from the tattoo 🤓 I still love sheer coverage work and I wouldn’t choose full coverage technique for everyone (especially thin skins & mature lips), but when a client trusts me to do what I think will suit them best, this is becoming my favourite approach🤘 With sheer coverage (more natural), work - you will see more imperfections in the work, less cohesiveness, less definition in the healed result and this is because you see “less” of the tattoo. Natural results mean imperfections will be more visible & because the tattoo is LESS visible, it also doesn’t last as long and fades faster 💉 Done on my friend Zena 🥹❤️ one of my favourite sets of ‘26 on one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. We worked together way back in 2018, I first tattooed her lips in 2019, and she also tattooed mine at one time! The nude lips you see here at the end of this post are from 7 years healed. The healed result was already so good I almost didn’t want to touch it… but the new result is even better 😎 It took me over 3 hours to narrow almost 300 photos/videos down to these 20 because I wanted the prettiest, most editorial angles 📐 Also: NO makeup besides lashes, NO filters, NO editing.
