My goal on this platform is to provide you all with the most accurate forecasts you'll find, alongside storm chase coverage you just won't get anywhere else. When people ask me, "What bad storms does New England even get?" I tell them, "Many of them." A lot of people don't realize that New England does get incredibly destructive and impactful storms and they are getting more common unfortunately. I hope to give you all a true perspective on how devastating these events can be, even though it's heartbreaking to capture on camera. I am always blown away by the resilience of these communities. @kburks217 Thank you for sharing. I agree, the devastation can be hard to see. It's sad .... in so many ways. However, it is nice when you see communities/people pull together and help each other out. I also feel that your reporting serves as a reminder, that things "can" happen here. New England, New York, etc are not immune. That being said .... someone could be fine at their house .... and a few miles (or less) down the road there could be total devastation.
