Catsbury Park@catsburypark ADOPTION STORY 📖 PENNY In July of last year we pulled some cats from @communitycatclub to give them chance at adoption at our lounge. Penny was one of those cats, and she arrived to Catsbury Park on 7/9/25. Penny was super shy when she first arrived, so our team made sure we spent lots of time giving her attention and playing with her, hoping she’d come out of her shell a bit. Little by little, Penny felt more comfortable and relaxed. She started running up to us in the mornings when it was time for food, we’d catch her romping around and playing when she thought no one was looking - and she found her go to spot in the tower by the birds. This girl was ready for her forever home - but she still was waiting for her person. Penny waited 370 days for Krista to find her - and when Krista applied and told us she wanted nothing more than to give this girl a chance - she could see her playful, sweet, loving personality and wanted to help Penny truly blossom. So - we made it official and we sent Penny off to her forever home with Krista. These adoptions are so important to us because we know there is always a person for every cat - and getting the privilege of playing a part in these connections and watching them become a reality in real time is truly special. Kristina - thank you for taking a chance on Penny and seeing the sweet girl inside that wanted nothing more than her own people and her own home.
