The Ju-Jitsu Federation of Republika Srpska alongside with JJEU and JJIF is honored to invite all national federations, clubs, athletes, coaches, and officials to participate in one of the largest Ju-Jitsu events of the year. From 10–13 September 2026, the city of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will welcome approximately 1,500 competitors from 15–20 countries, competing over four competition days on six tatami areas. This event will bring together the very best athletes from across Europe and beyond, creating an exceptional atmosphere of high-level international competition. The Balkan Open Championship is an official JJIF Ranking Event, offering athletes a valuable opportunity to earn ranking points. With the participation of numerous national teams and top-ranked competitors, the tournament will play a significant role in shaping the international rankings. Alongside the Balkan Open Championship, Banja Luka will also host the JJIF Duo & Show World Cup, a prestigious Grand Prix Ranking Event. Competitors in the Duo and Show disciplines will have the opportunity to earn even more valuable JJIF World Ranking points, making this competition one of the most important events of the season for these categories.
