just a girl chasing the dream that used to keep her up at night. 🎞️🤎 August 11 will always be a special day for me. A year ago, I opened the doors to my very first suite and officially stepped out on faith to build something of my own. And yesterday, one year later, I opened the doors to a whole new suite in Brandon. 🥹 If you asked me a year ago if I’d be where I am today, honestly… I probably wouldn’t have believed you. I didn’t have all the confidence in myself that I have now. I questioned myself A LOT. I was scared, I was figuring things out as I went, and there were plenty of moments where I wondered if I was really capable of doing this. But to know me is to know how much heart, hard work, and passion I’ve poured into this. This has never just been “doing hair” to me. It’s the ideas that keep me up at night, the things I’m constantly dreaming up, the long days, the sacrifices, the lessons, the little wins, and all the moments that reminded me why I started in the first place. And somehow… one year later, I’m standing in a bigger space, in a new city, with a bigger vision and so much more faith in myself than I had when I started. These pictures feel very Y2K digital camera, very “just a girl with a dream” 😂 but honestly, I think that’s perfect because that’s still me. Year one of independence. 🤎 Year one of building my dream. Year one of betting on myself. And if this is what year one looked like… I’m really excited to see what God has waiting for year two. 🥹👑✨
