From Sweden and Austria to China and the United States, SAIT’s WorldSkills 2026 competitors are gaining tools of their trade all over the globe.🌍 These recent summer travel opportunities served as important checkpoints in their training and are helping shape their final push before Shanghai. A snapshot of some of their recent training experiences ⬇️ Jacob McClelland, CNC Milling 📍 Austria, United States Jacob became familiar with new programming software and shared insights with the other competitors. Tyler Gunther, Industrial Mechanics (Millwright) 📍 Sweden, China Tyler Gunther sharpened his broad range of abilities and came in second during the mock competition in Sweden. Carter Kokot, Automobile Technology 📍 China Carter Kokot explored electric vehicle technology and placed fifth among competitors from 16 countries in the practice competition.
