Ad. The villa holiday of dreams. Genuinely, faultless stay at Villa Tourmaline on the beautiful Island of Brač in Croatia. Stunning location, beautifully equipped but what really made it shine was the service. When we pulled up from our speedboat transfer from Split, we were greeted by the lovely Barbara and Isadora who went above and beyond all week. And it’s those things, when you’re in a villa that make the biggest difference. They made it so there were all the comforts of having your own space, without any of the jobs that come with it. A daily housekeeping service, food shopping service, booking trips and outings and the most special for us, a daily laundry service. Pop your clothes in the basket in the morning a they’re returned ironed and folded later that day. When you’ve got kids this is a game changer. AND, we all went home with zero holiday washing. I know right! We also had our own @cvvillas concierge who contacted us weeks before the visit to talk us through everything and help us make bookings. It really has been the five star treatment we absolutely aren’t used to at home. And as for Croatia, if you haven’t been, please put it on your list, it really is a very special place, steeped in a history yet somehow it sparkles like new, no idea how it does that.
