@yuanmei Being still and resting is also part of being productive, but it’s not common to think of it that way. Even in machines we have predictive and preventive maintenance, where we stop equipment for a proper repair so it can run smoothly, so why not living things!

@zistan2002 In sg this is Normal, if stop every cost adds up. If stop will be replaced by AI in future. So ya the loop is real just know what makes u happy to break the loop then recharge n rerun like a relay

Actually I’ve always been envious of how ppl could take time out of their already daily routine that keeps them going and everything to refocus on their thoughts, self wellbeing, how do you tell your family / spouse on your decision like that?

@patrinathy I was just reflecting with John the past 2 days. Sometimes we focus too much on fearing the worst case scenario where we could have spent the time enjoying the good times. It’s so important to call ourselves out when we have this mental block. Reset, play and live the best we can. Doesn’t matter what and how much we achieve.

@leonleelx I feel you 1000%. Regardless of whatever is in our bank accounts, idk why we always feel we need to chase for more and more. Yes we have bills to pay, but at some point we need to play and be a kid again. I would say 90% of the time be an adult, but in your own space, find time to be a child and do something pointlessly fun. It might be volleyball for you or some other hobby that you put aside for the chase. But one thing is for sure - I know you'll find yourself in all this, and know what you enjoy and love.

@walkerkensg This is how I feel too as a salaried person... I work .. burn out I look to visit china... I came back work and burn out again. The cycle never stop .. where life lead me? Off day I take my camera out and shoot some and post some content... Back then I felt alive.. but now.. I felt a little dead. So I change to travel... But travel so expensive.. so back to work and earn and travel... I'm so tired.

@meltedkisses Aircon on a hot day.... Ever since my house got taken by the fire and we now living in a temp lodging. There hasn't been a single day where we regret not appreciating our Aircon enough.
