Malcolm “The Machine” Wellmaker@wallathemachine It’s been 3 weeks since I up and moved my whole life to Florida. Chasing a dream, giving everything I have to this sport and betting it all on myself once again. In such a short amount of time I’ve learned so much from so many people from all around the world. The list of things I’ve learned is too long to share, but the one lesson I’m the happiest with is realizing I belong here. Everyday I find myself in a room full of legendary coaches, world champion athletes and undiscovered killers yet I don’t feel out of place. We all want the same thing and understand what it takes, and we fit together like puzzle pieces. One of the scariest feelings I had to deal with was feeling like I wasn’t good enough or that I wasn’t who I thought I was. Adversity will do that to you… But it didn’t last long. I believe in myself, like I always did, and I also believe I can and will do great things. God-willing, only time will tell. In the mean time, hard work, patience and faith is the name of the game.
