Dion MBD@dionmbd Since graduating in 2019, I haven’t had a single day off. I kept working, making, teaching, and learning, but along the way, I was not sure anymore who or what I have become. Then, early this month, I finished my first semester of business school postgrad and most of my illustration projects. So, I told my agent @chadwbecks that I need to take a sort of sabbatical until the end of the year. I want to re-find my artistic voice and to help with that, I created this assemblage of 100 meaningful things. This tiny internal spring cleaning has made me realize that some parts of me have remained the same, some others have evolved, and even more have changed. I’m not sure how this realization will change my art making, but I’m excited to create more for myself this next 6 months!
