With a monitor being so close to your baby while sleeping, a low EMF option is something I think is worth the investment. Plastic ❌ Glass ✅ This is a very realistic swap for a majority of people. The less plastic, the better 👍 Cloth diapering is not only healthier, but also cheaper and more sustainable in the long run. Obviously it can be inconvenient, so using disposable diapers made from cleaner materials and that avoiding harsh chemicals is a great option. A humidifier helps protect your baby’s sensitive skin and nasal passages. Not all humidifiers are created equal though. Find one that is mold resistant. I believe everyone should be avoiding synthetic clothing, but especially babies having extra sensitive skin. Organic cotton baby clothes are extremely affordable as well. I’d prioritize this one 👍 Again, natural materials over synthetic every time. A sleep sack made from wool and organic cotton is perfect for the night as well to help regulate temperature. Look for certifications such as GOTS, OKEO-TEX, and Greenguard gold. This ensures little to no off gassing. An air purifier is well worth the investment for wherever your baby sleeps. Clean air is obviously important but it will also help with sleep and doubles as white noise.
