Braden Moran@bradenmoran Two beautiful things I experienced recently and highly recommend giving a shot (in 2 parts - because I’m too verbose for IG captions…🤣🤷🏻♂️): First…Toy Story 5. @pixar has a tremendous success rate in my eyes, and this is them at their absolute best. In a world of ever encroaching AI and new “tech invasions” popping up in every corner of our lives, it reminded me of the simple joy (and necessity) of play, of shared moments, of imagination, of craft, and of human storytelling. It reminds one to try to spend some time everyday swimming weightless in wonder and innocence. A much needed reminder in this day and age. Kudos to all the artists who clearly poured so much heart into this. You can tell it’s personal. And it’s universal and beautiful because of that. And - as per usual - it’s super funny (for adults and kids), clever, and earnest and sentimental (in the best meanings of the words) and just full of so much love. Can’t recommend it enough. **Second slide is a breakdown of Pixar’s “22 Rules of Storytelling” that I found a long time ago - apologies for not having original posting credits…It’s all distilled into such clarity of focus for them - and it shows in the quality of the final story...
