Paris France 🇫🇷 Travel | Hotels | Food | Tips@paris.explore 💡Auvers-sur-Oise is one of the most important villages in art history because it’s where Vincent van Gogh spent the final months of his life 🎨🇫🇷 Located just outside Paris, the quiet French village inspired some of his most famous paintings, including landscapes filled with wheat fields, gardens, and small village streets that still look incredibly similar today. Van Gogh arrived in Auvers-sur-Oise in 1890 and created more than 70 paintings in only a few months while staying at the Auberge Ravoux, the small inn where he also spent the final days of his life.
