Please join me in congratulating my latest Acne Bootcamp graduate!! 🎉🎓 This lovely girl came to see me just after the new year, ready to make a fresh start in 2026! While this transformation is more subtle, these photos you see are the result of 5 solid months of hard work, diligence, and I credible PATIENCE. Non-inflamed acne is by far the most difficult to treat, the reason being that the skin becomes very accustomed to accumulating congestion under the surface. In the absence of inflammation, the skin has no real reason to change or respond readily to treatments. So we must force the issue. When the skin is also sensitive, it makes this process more difficult because this type of condition needs STRONG actives to clear, and so time must be spent conditioning the skin to accept harsher products without reacting or causing discomfort. It took almost 5 full months but we got there!! Holistic acne management is much more sustainable than relying on prescription drugs or topicals.
