Very excited to be in Tokyo this weekend do a talk and book launch at @skwat.site with @yukihitokono 🌹 Talk will be in English and Japanese Details below: Tickets: https://daniel-shea-distribution-talk-20260418.peatix.com We are pleased to host a talk by New York–based artist Daniel Shea at SKAC (SKWAT KAMEARI ART CENTRE), Tokyo. This event is presented in conjunction with the publication of his new book DISTRIBUTION, released in 2025 by MACK. Beginning with the motif of a forest, the work unfolds through the figure of an American woman and expands into larger collectives and urban environments, articulated through the sequence of the photobook. The conversation will be held with photographer Yukihito Kono, who also runs the space IACK, tracing the structure and development of the work.
