Since childhood, I have studied the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, including both true and false narratives. I came to know that you are working on a Chhatrapati-based film, and I humbly request you to please give me one opportunity to speak with you. Whatever I can share may help in presenting Maharaj’s real history to the people. You are one of the few creators from whom I expect original and raw storytelling, just like Kantara 👌 Also, it is not possible to cover Maharaj’s complete history in just one film. Even if you make 4–5 parts, only around 20% of the history can be shown. And the best part is—there is no need for any fictional elements, because the original historical events themselves are incredibly powerful and engaging for the audience.
