i often find myself wrestling with how much i should talk about chelsea online. part of me wants to share stories and memories because she was a huge chapter of my life. another part of me hesitates because i never want it to feel like i’m using her memory for attention. that idea alone has made me hesitate many times. it’s wild that we’ve reached a place where remembering someone you loved dearly can be viewed through that lens. the truth is that social media will never capture the real weight of grief. it will never see the quiet moments, the memories that surface out of nowhere, or the tears that happen behind closed doors. posting about her isn’t about attention. it’s simply one of the ways i choose to remember someone who mattered deeply to me.

@emilym0803 I feel this pain in my bones. I lost my first love at 23 years old, I’m almost 27 now and not a day goes by that I don’t think about and try to honor her in the way I live ❤️
@picabo22 I can def relate.. this post came on my page. I lost my wife 6 yrs ago on 02/22/20.. Christina was 33. Losing your loved ones is traumatic and changes you forever. You go thru so many emotions and everything triggers it in the beginning.. it’s hard to explain unless you have been thru it. Coming home to all their belongings in same spot hours prior.. I don’t know if it gets better but it becomes more tolerable. I know She is always with me, I keep her memory alive and I know she is at Peace.
@teacups312 I am so sorry for your loss. Ik no words can ever heal that pain. But just know she will always be right by your side, though u may never see her. She will forever be the side monkey on your back guiding and pushing you to your greatness.
@piggyeu_ So beautifully written ♥️ thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life with us 🕊️

@smallsiren.88 Hi Brooke. I don’t know you, but you came across my feed. I read what you wrote and instantly followed you. You placed into words exactly what I have been feeling. I lost my soulmate a little over 2 years ago, and every day since feels… heavy. Her absence is something I still to this day cannot adequately describe, but it resonated with me, what you wrote.. I know words can’t soothe your heartache, but I hope you know that what you wrote about Chelsea was beautiful, shattering, and heartlfelt.. and I appreciate you being willing to share your grief with others. I’ve felt that, save for her family, there’s very few people who truly share mine. But reading your words helped me remember that there are other souls like mine out there, who’ve lost someone they’ve loved like no other. I hope you know she’s watching over you, and walking with you in every step you take. Chelsea sounded like an absolutely amazing human being, and I am so so sorry for your loss. Again I know you don’t know me, but if ever you need someone to reach out to, please feel free. Keep your head up girl. And keep sharing her story- your story- the story of your love. It’s beautiful and more people should know of the love of Brooke and Chelsea. 🫶🏾
@crystalthomason87 My condolences and prayers for your loss. I have lost 2 ex-girlfriends. We stayed in touch after going our separate ways. The first one died in her sleep, and the second one died of a drug overdose.
@unbothered_dice Oh my… that’s pure love. This story truly brought me to tears. The way you expressed your sincere admiration, love, compassion, and remembrance of your ex-wife speaks volumes about the depth of your heart and the bond you shared. To continue honoring her with such grace and love is a true example of what unconditional love and friendship is suppose to look like, just absolutely beautiful and deeply touching. ❤️🔥🥰💛✨

@mommiiianaaa I’m proud of you for expressing yourself and not keeping your emotions bottled in. She sounds like an amazing person and we are lucky to experience love in its true form. Lucky to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. Sending hugs, warmth and hopefully a full belly of your favorite snacks. Find strength and one day I hope you find eachother again❤️
