Devon Artist Network and Open Studios@devonopenstudios 🎉 Meet Our 2025 Emerging Artist Bursary Winners! 🎨 Artists across the county are getting ready to welcome visitors for this year’s Open Studios, and we’re thrilled to spotlight five incredible artists who have been awarded our Emerging Artist Bursary! 🌿 Olivia Parsons @olivia_parsons_art (Venue W2, Lifton) Inspired by patterns in nature, Olivia’s interactive ceramics invite you to touch, explore, and connect. She’s also stitched a giant white rabbit using her grandmother’s vintage sewing machine – playful, nostalgic, and utterly joyful. 🌾 Kate Rattray @the.dreaming.lark (Venue T31, Ullacombe, Dartmoor) Moorland grasses, oak gall ink, and Yarner Wood charcoal find new life in Kate’s poetic, nature-rooted artwork. Her handmade papers sometimes hold her own words, beautifully embedded in fibre and form. 🧵 Sharon Loddey @artshaz (Venue T15, Seale Hayne, Newton Abbot) Sharon’s abstract series ‘All That We Carry’ explores memory, connection and personal history with a soft, Morandi-inspired palette. Also a poet and workshop leader, she shares the healing process of art with young people. 🌸 Beth Osment @bethosment.textiles (Venue EX5) Beth’s calming, nature-inspired quilts reflect the peace she finds in her daily walks. Made with sustainable materials and designed to bring serenity into your home, her work is beautiful, functional, and deeply nurturing. 🌀 Jenny Toft (Venue TB10, Paignton) Jenny’s layered paintings explore family connection and emotional complexity.
