@susanmc726 I just started a book about Isabella Stewart Gardener. A bit slow getting into it, since it is an unabridged copy written in typical biography style, but fascinating. Her life also includes Back Bay Boston history, also quite intriguing.

@dirium_digitale North and South has the prettiest cover, like those paintings of renaissance...i think this year I read lots of short story mainly from hindi literature,I read this story called "sawere jo ankh meri khuli( the moment my eyes opened at the morning)" it was such a funny read 😂 like seriously,I recommend everyone to read it ( which I usually don't) if u have a lil stressful day,I read this one back in 10 th grade ,in my urdu su

@hgrace_234 Les Mis was my project book a few years back, I read a little bit throughout the year and finished it on New Year's Eve. it's my favorite movie of all time and the book was REALLLY good, I felt like it had the same power and the message came through (even though Victor Hugo is the KING of the Info Dump lol) also love the little cartoon on the back flap of this edition giving some history of the publishing of the book and how it was so controversial. LOVE IT
@read.by.alex I LOVE Les Miserable! It’s my current favorite book and I’m always quoting or talking about that book in discussions even though I read it years ago! Truly has changed my reading life FOR THE BEST👏👏
