Tomorrow is Election Day in New York City—which is where I live—and I wanted to use my platform to talk about my choice for Mayor in the city that I love. I am admittedly a transplant, but I cannot imagine living anywhere else, and it’s so exciting to see a Mayoral candidate with socialist values and an agenda that represents the people of New York rather than the 1%. If you live in NYC and are registered to vote, please rank Zohran number one (and don’t rank evil Andrew for Mayor). If you don’t live in NYC, I hope you still follow the election and endorse him on your socials, as a win for Zohran represents a future of building communal power and reclaiming spaces from the clutches of capitalism and billionaires who would seek to commodify public goods.
