@barry657283 Disclaimer. I am 61. Youngest of four. And dad was a teen during WWII. The wifes nickname for me is 1942. So maybe my old school ways are more nurture than nature. My dress shoe wardrobe is almost entirely wing tips. Thats what dad wore. He had one black pair and one brown pair. They were the thick, all business Florscheims that are like, $250 today. I have brown leather wingtips. Black Newports that are waterproof (think wet grass at funerals). Both brown and black boots in wing tip for riding the motorcycle. Casual, softer sole, ox blood wingtips to wear without socks. And black patent, tasseled, slip on, wingtips for a wedding. (And one pair of cordovan penny loafers that are so stiff my heels bled after two hours on vacation! I don't wear them anymore!) I dont listen to anyone spouting "Oxfords, not brogues!" If wingtips are brogues, then I wear brogues for 'dress' Everything!! You can keep ALL those other styles. I have mine.

@charlesmchargue I wear a chelsea safety boots, itβs good for gardening and diy works, easy to wear and quick to take off. Loafers π desert boots π₯Ύ wingtip and Oxford shoes are the ones I preferred.
