Birdy and I spent 2 days writing this song, laughing a lot and chatting, and somehow this quite profound, reflective, sombre song emerged. But that’s witchcraft I guess. @loni_r.e.p_ No matter what people may think, for me Birdy is one of the greatest artists in history. She is my favorite singer! Her talent is raw, a true jewel. Her voice is sublime. Since her childhood, she has seemed to come from another planet. She was clearly born for music. The emotions Birdy conveys strike our souls with incomparable beauty and softness. Everything that is beautiful in humanity can be found through her voice and her piano. She has the power to make us nostalgic for things we have never even lived. That kind of talent is unique in the world. I hope she will return to France one day, because she is the very incarnation of music. Thank you for existing, Jasmine ! Birdy is a bird born to sing
