Evonne ★@evonnz 🌸 Sakuras in Feb?! They’re everywhere, you just need to know where to find them! Our initial plans to Kawazu (河津) for the early blooming varietal of cherry blossoms (Kawazu zakuras #河津桜) were thwarted by the sudden rainy weather, so we had to seek alternatives. We still got a bit wet and the weather was gloomy, but managed to find these February blooms at: 🌸 Sakuma Dam, Chiba #佐久間ダム親水公園 (pic 1-5, scenic option with plenty of trees but about 1.5 hours away from Tokyo) 🌸 Sakura Jingu #桜神宮(just 3 lonely trees, but look out for their beautiful sakura design lace omamori from 1st April) 🌸 Yoyogi Park #代々木公園 (about 8 trees) There are also other spots in Shinjuku Gyoen (closes at 4, entry fee payable, Yokohama and Kanagawa 💙 Photos taken with the #x100vi #fujifilm #fujifilmx100vi 😍 all pictures SOOC #evonnzinjapan #zakura #kawazuzakura
