@lp_the_sin_of_pride Warranties 99% of the time are scams I have never heard or seen someone get a warranty when purchasing a car and they actually honor the warranty without some type of back and forth

@cqks33 My family’s next-door neighbor is a mechanic, and he has worked on our cars for a long time. He has helped us fix many of the cars we’ve owned. When I was out of the country over the summer, I even let him drive my 2025 RAV4 Hybrid, even though it was still pretty much new at the time. My brother also gave him a 2016 Honda Civic as a gift. It really comes down to how well you know someone, whether you can trust them, and how honest and responsible they are. Even if he had gotten into an accident or something had happened to the car, as long as he wasn’t hurt, insurance could have covered the repairs. At the end of the day, it’s just a vehicle—a tool that gets you from one place to another.
