They can attract beneficial insects that prey on pests and act as a trap crop, drawing pests to them and away from the veggies. The diversity of plants mixed together keeps the soil healthier and it keeps pests confused, so infestations don’t spread. And honestly, everything looks prettier with flowers! Our gardens don’t have to only feed our bellies, they can feed our souls too!

@sweetstead_home This is so beautiful 😍 I’ve been wanting to add more flowers to my garden too, but the bees have my kids so scared they don’t even want to go outside anymore 😩 I know we need them, but whew… trying to find that balance right now. I’ll still try to add more flowers this year though 🌸🐝
