Zartonk Media @zartonkmedia “Titanic” & “Avatar” Director James Cameron to Visit Yerevan in November 🇦🇲 ➖➖➖ James Cameron will visit Armenia in November to meet representatives of the country’s film industry and appear before a public audience in Yerevan, Yerevan Municipality said. The public event runs on November 23 at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex and begins at 7 p.m. It is built around a conversation and audience Q&A with the director, followed by a concert program of music from his films. Tickets go on sale at noon on September 25 through eventhub. Everyone who buys during the first 3 days enters a draw for 5 tickets to meet Cameron in person, with details to follow. Yerevan Municipality is presenting the event, titled “In Conversation with James Cameron: A Cinema Legend, Live in Yerevan,” and Mezzo Production is organizing it. The concert lineup has not been announced. Cameron will speak about filmmaking, his creative career, his major ideas and technological innovation. He directed The Terminator in 1984, Aliens in 1986, Titanic in 1997 and Avatar in 2009. Titanic won 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director, and both Titanic and Avatar held the record for the highest-grossing film ever released. The Karen Demirchyan Complex is Yerevan’s largest indoor venue. It hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2022 and the European Political Community Summit in May, when leaders from 48 countries met in the Armenian capital.
