AVs and AI will change the way the transport industry operates, and it is important that unions and organisations prepare early so that workers can grow with these changes and benefit from the new livelihood opportunities they bring. Grateful to have spent the past day with NTWU and ComfortDelGro Group’s management discussing what lies ahead for our workers and the transport industry — and, more importantly, committing to joint programmes and platforms to prepare our workers for these changes. We also marked an important milestone, signing an agreement to strengthen the representation and protection of PME workers at ComfortDelGro.
